![]() and I'm trying frozen/thawed again, since the live food will only lead to more pets. We are going to try mice instead (for the snake), since I think rats are too big right now. Is it true they need a friend/cagemate? Anyone have tips on caring for them? Here are a few pictures, so you can see why I had trouble taking him back to the shop. He really is the cutest thing ever, and I've always heard rats make great pets. Pocket Mouse Septemat 2:37 pm I think you’re conflating accepting a meeting (so it shows up as a busy time on your calendar and the organizer, should they choose to check, sees the acceptance) with sending a response (an email sent to the organizer with your response, whether it’s accepted or rejected). I look under the bed, and sitting on my roommate's shoe is a very much alive little rat - just inches from the cat's nose. We named him Finnigan (Finny for short) and he lived for about a year. Oh well, guess that's the end of the rat, huh? Nope. So, he cost me 5.00, the cage/bedding/food/toys another 50.00 or so, and we ended up with the coolest little mouse friend. I found my kitty in there (a room she's usually not allowed in), and the rat's box tipped over on the floor and empty. Then today I got home, and went to check on the rat & snake. I was going to take it back, but when I picked up the rat it suckled on my finger & fell asleep in my hand.
